Our fee policy is explained to parents at the time of enrolment and is included in the Family Handbook.

The fee for 2011 per child per day, excluding the Childcare Benefit, is a set fee of $85.

Fees are due for all the days that the child is enrolled, regardless of attendance.

Fees are not charged for public holidays.

On enrolment, parents pay a deposit of $81 per child.

If a child is not collected by the time the centre closes at 6:00pm, a fine of $10.00 is issued for the first 15 minutes over time, and an additional $1 per minute thereafter until the child is collected, to compensate staff for extra time worked.

Fee statements are issued fortnightly covering the previous week and one week in advance.

There is a Christmas shutdown period of approximately two weeks. Fees are not charged during this period.

Payment Methods
Fees can be paid by parents weekly, or fortnightly. Payment methods include:

Electronic payment (with an electronic fund transfer from the invoicee's bank account into Clifton Co-op's bank account.)

Cheque made payable to "Clifton Child Care Co-operative Pty Ltd."

Eftpos or credit card at the Co-op.

Fee Assistance
Fee assistance is available to all families who are eligible under the Commonwealth Department of Human Services and Health guidelines. The Co-op can provide relevant information and assistance, including offering a reduced fee or lump sum payment, but the responsibility to meet required guidelines and procedures rests with the parent.

The Co-op is a non-profit organisation and operates on a very tight budget. To enable the Co-op to operate effectively, fees must be paid promptly.
